Leathercraft Training Courses
One of the most common questions we are asked at Titan Leathercraft is "Where can I learn how to do what you do?"
We are mostly self-taught, other than some professional training from a master saddler on stitching and some helpful feedback from leather tooling experts from around the world. As such finding somewhere in the UK where you can learn basic leathercrafting techniques alongside more advanced leather tooling is quite rare.
As such we have decided to offer a limited set of training courses at our on-site workshop on Poole Quay. We started these with three separate introductory courses in late 2017, but we have plans for adding additional courses on more advanced topics over the course of 2018/19, so please be sure to check back either here on the website or on our facebook page for updates.
We are also keen to hear from you with regards to any particular leathercrafting courses you would be interested in.
With all of our courses the use of our tools and the materials needed for each course is already included in the price.
We recommend that you bring along a notepaper and pen, particularly for the full day or longer courses, but other than that you shouldn't need to bring anything else, other than a sense of humour..
Tea or coffee is provided at the morning and afternoon breaks from our on-site coffee lounge, and you can always add snacks or lunches from there or from lots of places on or near the Quay
Please note that we prefer a minimum of two students for a course to run, however, this year we are offering the option to allow a class to run with a single student for an additional £20 charge. Should a course need to be cancelled then we will contact you before hand to arrange to either transfer your booking to an alternative date or refund any monies paid.
